In a world that often measures progress by speed and productivity, it’s no wonder so many of us feel like we’re “behind” when it comes to emotional or spiritual healing.
But the truth is — healing doesn’t have a timeline. And it certainly isn’t a race.
Healing Isn’t Linear — It’s Layered
Healing isn’t a straight line from broken to whole. It’s more like a spiral. You may revisit the same wounds from different angles. You might feel “better” one day and raw the next. That doesn’t mean you’ve gone backwards — it means you’re deepening your understanding, peeling back another layer, and integrating more of what needs your love and attention.
